Licensed and insured, operating under United States Forest Service permit in the Huron-Manistee National Forest.

John has 20 years of guiding experience in northern Michigan, many summers guiding in the Bristol Bay region of Alaska and time spent as head instructor for a prestigious northeastern fly fishing school. This leaves him well prepared to work with customers of all experience levels.

Services provided include full day float and walk-in fly fishing trips for trout, steelhead and salmon. Green-Stix rods and reels will be provided upon request along with all terminal tackle. A hearty lunch is provided and upon request can be modified to suit special dietary needs. Fly casting instruction and schools are available with FFF certified casting instructors.

SUMMERTIME

with a GREEN-STIX

This 4 pound Large Mouth Bass was "easily handled" by the Green-Stix 6'6" 2wt....unbelievable, but true!

Recently I was offered the opportunity to try out a Green-Stix rod by their Western Division Manager, Erik Steiner. We fished the Pronghorn Lake Ranch out of Bonanza Oregon early January 09. I used a 5 weight to catch multiple 4-5 lb trout and was very impressed. These rods have serious backbone! They are easy to cast (was easy throwing over 70'), have a very sensitive feel and are so accurate you can drop a fly on a dime. I have been flippin flies for 15 years and currently have 5 other fly rods with quite a range in value. None have left the rack since bringing home my own Green-Stix, and I just came back from my ninth trip this year, I can't wait to get back on the water.
